THE SON OF PROPHET SHEPHERD BUSHIRI, PROPHET KELVIN WROTE A MESSAGE TO YOUNG PROPHETS PROPHESYING ON THE AFCON TOURNAMENT. In his words, he wrote;
Dear Prophets,
Do not allow AFCON to derail your prophetic ministry.
With deep concern, I have watched how many young prophets have compromised their credibility by rushing to give football prophecies. Many have missed so badly, and now people are questioning whether they were ever genuine.
I am not against football prophecies, I give them occasionally myself. But please do not force a word when God has not spoken. If you do not have a clear message, remain silent. Silence is better than error.
Football is a highly emotional and opinionated space. One wrong prophetic word can damage what took years to build.
AFCON will end. Your ministry must continue.
Protect your calling. Guard your voice. Preserve your credibility.
You don’t need to prophesy football scores to prove you are a prophet.
Your calling is validated by accuracy, fruit, and transformation, not by predicting goals.
