RE-ANALYZING CHRISTIANITY IN AFRICA (CAMEROON 🇨🇲 ESPECIALLY).
I Woke up to deep thoughts this morning about the state of the church in Africa, especially Cameroon where I basically live and pastor from.
The curriculum of the “Christianity” we teach is somewhat faulty in that it focuses on rituals than character development and transformation. We have exalted teachings and practices that make people comfortable although in total dis-alignment with scriptures.
You see a “Christian” that speaks rugged tongues and can slander even more than the devil. The division that exists amongst us is proof that the teaching curriculum is really faulty. Believers that can comfortably tell lies, heavy lies, lies in the name of the Lord. The basic traits of a man that has met Jesus is a change of lifestyle. Every true encounter with Jesus will change your character into the perfect image of Jesus Christ. It will bring us to a place where we can ask ourselves, WILL THIS PERSON IM RELATING WIT LOVE JESUS MORE BECAUSE OF ME OR HATE TO HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT HIM?
We must focus on discipleship. Teachings that form the basic principles of faith in the heart of the worshippers that hear our sermons.
It is intentional work.
Very intentional work.
For the Love of God,
