"When Religion Becomes a Substitute for Christ"
To my dear brothers and sisters, parents, and young people please, I beg you, open your eyes and seek God for yourselves.
What we have seen surrounding the Catholic Church and the images of a clergyman publicly presenting a human skull should make every believer stop and ask serious questions. What place does a human skull have in the worship of the living God?
This is not about hatred for Catholics. It is a painful call for everyone to examine what we believe, what we practice, and where our faith is truly rooted.
A cross around your neck cannot save you. A religious uniform cannot save you. A title Father, Bishop, Cardinal, Pope, Apostle, or Pastor cannot save you. Tradition cannot save you. Only Jesus Christ saves.
If religious practices begin to look like the very things Christianity was supposed to separate us from, we must have the courage to ask: Are we following Christ, or are we simply defending a tradition because our fathers taught us to?
Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not attacking every Catholic person, and I am not saying every Catholic is evil. I am crying out against anything that takes the place of Christ and anything that leads people away from genuine repentance and faith in God.
There will come a day when no bishop will stand in your place, no cardinal will answer for you, no priest will answer for you, and no denomination will answer for you. You will stand before God for yourself.
Don’t wait until death to discover that religion was not the same thing as salvation.
My heart is heavy because I know many sincere people love God deeply, but sincerity alone is not enough if we refuse to examine what we believe.
Seek God. Read His Word. Repent. Turn to Christ.
Let us stop defending institutions blindly and start seeking the truth sincerely.
One day, we will all answer to God.
May God give us the courage to see the truth, the humility to repent, and the wisdom to follow Christ before it is too late.
