Apostle Ayire Godfred – The Vicar 1 of TACC

Apostle Godfred T. Ayire, widely celebrated as "Vicar One (Vicar 1)," stands among the most respected contemporary leaders of The Apostolic Church Cameroon (TACC). His life and ministry present a powerful testimony of faithfulness, perseverance, and growth through divine order.

Unlike many who seek prominence without process, Apostle Ayire's journey reflects the biblical principle that true leadership is cultivated through service and proven character. He faithfully progressed through the ranks of Youth Leader, Deacon, Elder, Pastor, and Evangelist before being recognized as an Apostle in the Body of Christ.

For many decades, Apostle Ayire has served the Church with unwavering dedication, becoming a father to many both biologically and spiritually. His years of service in Kembong are still remembered by many who testify of his labour of love, pastoral care, and commitment to the advancement of God's Kingdom.

In 2020, he reached a significant milestone when he was appointed Field 5 Superintendent of Obili–Yaoundรฉ, one of the strategic fields of The Apostolic Church Cameroon. This appointment ushered him into a wider sphere of influence and leadership. He currently serves as a member of the Executive National Council of TACC and as Chairman of the National Sunday School Committee.

Alongside his devoted wife, Mrs. Angelina Ayire, fondly known to many as "Mama Vicar 1," Apostle Ayire has built a ministry marked by family values, spiritual mentorship, and kingdom service. Together, they have nurtured biological children, including Vitalis Ayire, while serving as spiritual parents to countless believers.
In recent years, he has become widely known for hosting the impactful revival program "Tell the Devil: IT IS WRITTEN," held annually at the TACC Obili Auditorium in Yaoundรฉ. Through revival meetings, evangelism, discipleship, and apostolic leadership, Apostle Ayire continues to stand as a pillar within The Apostolic Church Cameroon.

Born on 11 November, he remains a living example that those who faithfully serve through every stage of ministry will, in God's appointed time, be entrusted with greater responsibilities and leave a legacy that inspires generations to come. His story teaches an important lesson to the next generation: lasting ministry is built not by shortcuts but by humility, loyalty, patience, and faithfulness at every level of responsibility.
