Papa Leslie delivered a message about preparing oneself for the evil day or taking charge of the evil day.
In his teaching, he thought us that In life, there are two important days in a man's life which are: "The day he is born and the day he finds out why he was born". And in a year, there are ten days which are; the 7 days of the week, your birthday, the 'evil day,' and the day of de@th.
The Bible calls this evil day the 'day of adversity' as seen in Proverbs 24:10: If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
What is the Evil Day?
"The day of adversity is that day when the winds blow against you. It is the day when you look left and right and there is nobody to stand by your side. It is the day when you call everyone and nobody picks up the phone. It is that day where all your colleagues gather against you, or when all the evidence makes you look guilty even though you are innocent. It is the day when your enemies are more numerous than your helpers."
He used Job as an example to understand the day of distress and urge us to read Job Chapter 1. He said the wind that rose against Job had his name written on it in big characters.
In the evil day, Satan will make sure the message reaches you and the message that will hurt you.
Quest: Why was there always only one servant left in Job evil day?
Ans: Because Satan wanted Job to receive the message. When Job was not shaken, Satan touched his body."
Quest: Why God Allows the Evil Day?
Ans: "Some of you are going through certain things because God has bet on you. He is sure that you will never leave the church because you lost your job, or because you didn't get a visa, or because of a breakup. God has bet that because of what is in you, you will never abandon Jesus Christ.
How to Prepare for the Evil Day!!!
"You do not prepare for war during the war; you prepare for war during peace. If the cal@mity takes you by surprise, you cannot overcome it. Here is how you prepare:
1- Adequate Nutrition: You must feed your spirit with the Word of God. The Word is the milk that makes you grow and the solid food for the mature. If you don't eat the Word, your spirit is weak.
2- Exercise Your Spirit: You cannot have developed muscles without exercise. Put the Word into practice.
3- Practice Prayer: You learn to pray by praying. Don't just say, 'Lord be with me as I go out.' That is not prayer. Exercise yourself until you can pray for one hour or three hours without interruption.
4- Share Your Faith: Stop talking about your problems to people. When you share your problems with men, you put them before God. Share your faith instead."
"Don't let your problem show on your face. The more you talk about your problem, the more you multiply it. Talk to the mountain; do not talk about the mountain.

Today, I activate in you the spirit of war and the spirit of preparation. Go to your room, close the door, and pray until you hear in your soul that it is done.
