CAMEROON HAS BEEN OPPORTUNED TO HOST THE FINEST PREACHERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

BISHOP DR COLLINS WILSON WROTE:

My advice to my Generation…

Cameroon๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฒ as a nation has been through lots of conflicting but complimenting attributes and factors that contributed to both the negative and positive reactions that have formed the foundations of our motherland.

Politically, economically and spiritually. This protracting chain of actions have defined who we are as a people. We believe in others but ourselves, we invest in others but ourselves, we are hospitable to others but ourselves, we contribute our energy to make it happen for others but ourselves, we celebrate others but ourselves.

We seem to be losing the little identity left in us.

I will base my analysis from the spiritual standpoint and allow the rest for the actors in that domain.

Cameroon is not a virgin land for revival. The gospel soil of our nation is being cultivated since in the colonial days in the 60’s when missionaries invaded our nation with religion, politics and education.

They played their own part and left. However, their impact fizzled out and faded because we lack managers (leadership) to retain this impact for our home benefit.

I have even lost count of many; you can keep the naming…

We have had great missionaries in our shores, some lost their life in the process…

We have had the best of gospel artists who provoked the heavens with rhythms and melodies in worship and praises. Not to talk of those God has raised in our nation.

Some of these leaders have their churches in our shores. However, what is wrong with us, and why have we not been able to sustain this rich spiritual deposition in our nation? Why are we still crawling and vulnerable spiritually…

I believe the following will help this diagnosis:
 1. We have refused to be patriotic
 2. We have refused to grow up and stand on our feet (our dependency ratio on aliens is too high)
 3. We are pregnant but lack the strength to deliver
 4. Our platforms are too carnal to sustain this deposition. We engage for the wrong reasons—more on self-aggrandizement, fame, and pride
 5. The few God is raising have become too selfish to be trusted by God, thoughtless of championing the move
 6. We have not paid the price or built true and genuine capacity for what we demand from God
 7. The trusted remnants are still in the cave for processing and eventual showing forth in due season
 8. Others have become corrupt and bewitched in cultism and deviated…
 9. Lack of love and true unity amongst us

Our nation has been pregnant for ages; we have invited the above surgeons and midwives to help us deliver but we lack the ability to raise the child…

Cameroon preachers ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฒ please be real, avail yourselves and sustain this revival fire… We are overdue for it. Let’s guard our hearts and be intentional in the place of expectations with God…

We can’t continue to pursue our spiritual expectations with the energy of the flesh and wasting the opportunity God brings our path…
