PROPHETIC FAULTS THAT MAKE PEOPLE ABUSE PROPHETSTake note:
1. Prophets fail to teach about the prophetic so that people can understand certain mysteries about the prophetic ministry. Prophets need to be open to teach the word of God accurately so that the prophetic ministry can mirror the word of God. The word of God is the greatest pillar of the prophetic ministry. The word must be made flesh in every prophetic ministry through teachings so that people can behold the glory of God revealed through the prophets. Scripture says: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14.
2. Prophets have the fault of not warning the people of God about false teachers who will capitalize on demonizing and condemning the prophetic move of God just to make themselves valid servants of God. Many false teachers are everywhere talking rubbish about prophets so that people can think they themselves are genuine. Listen, a real man of God focuses on his assignment, not condemning others to stay relevant.
3. Many prophets lack the boldness to express their prophetic abilities for fear of critics, and thus they fail to stand bold to defend the prophetic ministry. As a prophet be bold to prophesy, even when people don’t understand your pattern.
4. Inability of prophets to unite. The unity of the prophetic sponsors the out pouring of prophecy. When prophets are united in company there is a prophetic release and flow. Saul found himself in the company of prophets and he prophesied. Scripture says: And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. 1Samuel 10:10. Prophets need to begin to unite and walk in company. One of the greatest enemy of the prophetic is division.
