Prophet Romeo is one of the clergymen God has raised in the nation of Cameroon with a unique assignment and mandate. In this article, you will get to know more about him and his journey in ministry.
PERSONAL LIFE, BACKGROUND & FAMILY ORIGINS:
He was born in the family of His Royal Highness, Fon Zofoa II, his father had +80 wives and 512 children. He is among the least from his brothers and sisters for others are high profile people in the society while he is a servant of God. He came from the village Babungo, in Northwest Region of Cameroon, under the Babessi sub-division.
He comes from a royal family, specifically the family of Fon Zofoa II who is his father and mother is Queen Honorine Mateh. He is happily married to Evangelist Damaris and are blessed with 3 kids.
Education Life: He completed his primary and secondary education (Ordinary and Advanced Levels) in his village, he also attended university of theology at Center of biblical studies Bamenda, small mankon. He is a holder of Dr. Degree
Early Mentorship: He was initially with Pastor Warah Solomon in the year 2013, who eventually told him he could not mentor him because he was a prophet and Rev Warah Solomon was a pastor, explaining that their spiritual workings were different. These were Pastor Warah exact words( I can't mentor you because you are a prophet and I am a pastor. If we work together, it cannot go because the way God speak to a pastor and prophet is different). He advised him to seek God and look for who to mentored him.
He was deeply moved and inspired by the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua, whom he followed on television and then God revealed to him Senior Prophet Frank repeatedly that he is his mentor.
Following divine revelation after his encounter, he sought mentorship under Senior Prophet Frank who has been his spiritual father till his transition, he taught him the importance of "mercy" in ministry, noting that Prophet Romeo possessed a "raw anointing" like that of the old days.
He was released to start his own ministry in 2015, beginning in his home village of Babungo, which he described as a difficult experience as a local prince.
The 2017 Crisis: A major conflict arose when a village idol disappeared and the villagers blamed Prophet Romeo, leading to a seven-day strike and threats against his life.
Days later, 13 of his pastors were arrested with Prophet Romeo summoned to court and spent weeks in prison before their released.
He credits military armed forces for intervening and saving lives during the height of the village's hostility toward his church.
The relocation came as a result of the ban he received from the court and from the village after his released. In 2018, his spiritual father, Senior Prophet Frank directed him to Kribi where the ministry is established now.
He is also privileged to be the president of the sons of Prophet Frank Network in Cameroon.
Since then, God has been using Prophet Romeo to be a blessing and mentor to many other preachers of the gospel within the nation of Cameroon and also at the international level.
Prophet Romeo has been privileged to hold many out doors crusade within the regions of Cameroon and also ministered in international programs where he was invited.
Prophet Romeo is not only called to minister to members and lost sheep's, but has been given the mandate to minister to preachers of the gospel through the vision "" MEETING WITH THE PROPHETS "" which holds annually every January 12,13,14 & June program which takes all ministers of the gospel to the mountain to seek the face of God.
He had accurately prophesied the departures (deaths) of both Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua and his mentor, Senior Prophet Frank, as well as the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He recounts a "demonstration of power" where a guava tree dried up after he used it to illustrate a sermon on John 15, comparing it to Jesus cursing the fig tree.
He mentioned a recent incident in Socapalm Kenke where he led prayers and street marches following a series of violent attacks, leading to the arrest of the perpetrators.
Aside of doing ministry, the prophet is also into animal farming.
