If the spiritual fathers of Cameroon cannot publicly admit that they set the wrong template for the church in this country and declare the right path, then I am sorry to say: the only hope we have left is the younger generation.
I have interacted with several senior ministers, pastors and fathers in this country, and they are pained. They feel used and dishonored by foreign ministers, their own children and the entire system of contemporary ministry. I am shocked that, until now, none of them has publicly stood with "Cameroon Awake."
Is that what you call wisdom? Shying away from the truth to save face?
Given the number of fathers I have spoken with privately lately, a single public statement from them should have brought significant change already.
I know that after saying this, they will blacklist me even further. I did not honor God’s call just to integrate into corrupt systems. To that effect, I am stepping down from every position given to me in any Christian association in Cameroon. I have observed that these Christian groups are instead integrating the very system destroying the church in this country. I will voluntarily join any Christian association in the future that sets the interest of the sheep—the church and her people—above all else.
I was almost swallowed by this ungodly system. Thank God for saving me early. My early years in ministry were a mess. I sold "miracle" water and oil because we thought it was okay. Thank God for Matthew 10:8; the day I read it, God spoke to me and I repented. I am willing to deal with isolation for the sake of truth, purity, sanctity, and patriotism.
