It is #Wrong for Goverment officials in our nation to tag the Churches that she greatly relies on for peace and prosperity of the nation as being the cause of many Societal ills and disorders and exploitations.
Considering the fact that
The Church has been instrumental in transforming heart harden criminals to sanity and moral rectified,
Considering the fath that the #Church has been instrumental in praying for the peace and prosperity of the nation
Considering the fact that the church has contributed to employing and providing job opportunities to many,
Considering the fact that the Church has contributed to the academic, vocational and health sectors of the #nation amongst many other responsibilities,
I think that, the #Goverment has a responsibility to model respect for God and the Church as an institution. After the Church by herself, the Goverment is the next arm to rightly school the community of the #relevance of the Church/religion to the common man if at all the Goverment knows and values the church in her nation.
The Church is a Moral entity with the responsibility of providing spiritual and moral Guide to the nation and also stands a better place to fight all forms of evil.
I want to decry the tagging of #Churches in Cameroon by some Goverment officials to have been responsible for the social Ills and financial exploitations that goes on in the nation. These activities doesn't aligns with the #purpose and values of the Church of God.
I wish to suggest that individuals who are doing such should be addressed and be held accountable rather that tagging and stigmatizing the entire institution put in place by our Creator and Sovereign King.
If those people run Churches, those should have been the ones to be closed if there are verified proofs.
Has the #Goverment called for forum with clergy men of the nation to address any ill they have noticed from any Church so that it be addressed appropriately?
We have more exploitation at the ports, Boarders, highways and offices, etc but they have not been closed. We have #numerous social Ills from nightclubs, beer parlours, bars, and even some government officials are part of such but they are not closed down.
It makes feel there may be a hidden agenda or some individuals who have developed hatred for the church.
Next closing down #Churches that are not involved in what the Goverment seems to be fighting against is not rational. We should have encouraged #Churches without authorization to follow up the necessary process and without making it difficult for them.
The reasons advanced for closing down churches cannot be handle politically because it is more of a spiritual #problem and let the church which is a spiritual institution handle it for the #Goverment.
The problem could be handled appropriately.
