ADDRESS THE ROOTS 1st BEFORE THE MUSIC MINISTERS (A little long, I plead that you read; thank you)
In this age, the patterns that govern the society as a whole are stronger than mere knowledge of a disaster. When you want to really CHANGE PEOPLE, YOU TRANSFORM THEM; WHEN YOU REALLY WANT TO TRANSFORM PEOPLE , YOU MAKE THEM REPENT. Mind you REPENTANCE Does not begin with a change of CONDUCT, nooooooooo , it begins with A CHANGE OF MINDSET.
HOW PEOPLE THINK DETERMINES HOW THEY SEE, FEEL, ACT , AND REACT.
NOW EVERYONE IS HITTING HARD ON GOSPEL ARTISTS (MUSICIANS), CERTAINLY THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF TRUTH IN WHAT IS BEING SAID. BUT WE WILL BE VERY FOOLISH IF WE DON'T ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM FROM THE ROOTS. PLEASE CONSIDER WITH ME THE FOLLOWING POINTS.
● THE LEADERS OF THE CHURCH STARTED THIS
I grew up in the Apostolic church and I saw how my fathers in the Faith served God selflessly, with the entirety of all their bodies souls and spirits and no one was about materialism. Then came a time when the subsystems of the Evangelicals , precisely the pentecostal charismatics began shifting from the message, then.most pastors wanted to become stars , they started new churches where they became Demi-gods. Their messages were centered around Money, Poverty and demons. This was the beginning of the tragedy.
●THE MATERIALISM AND GREED OF CHURCH LEADERS
As time went on, the hearts of servants in church got corrupt , I mean everyone who had a significant role to play in church (singers , instrumentalists, and upcoming preachers). Seeing the flamboyant lifestyle of the pastors who would line up cars , own TV stations, own schools, own houses, and even private Jets etc . These servants knew exactly how most of these pastors got these things; it was from the influence of their Gifts. Then since Church became more about packaging and not Gospel , everyone became like "Adam wanting to be like God". So Then the merchandise of gifts began. I SAY GREED AND THE LOVE OF MONEY BROUGHT US HERE. THE CHURCH LEADERS STARTED IT, THEY TRANSFERRED THAT EVIL FIRE IN THE HEARTS OF OTHER SERVANTS,AND EVEN NOW MANY PEOPLE GO TO CHURCH FOR GOD TO CHANGE THEIR FINANCIAL CONDITIONS. THE GOSPEL ARTISTS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS STARTED LAVERAGING ON THEIR GIFTS
● MOST CHURCHES HAVE NO PROJECTS
This is the most terrifying of all of the reasons. Yes I say most churches have no projects. When I listen to what we call projects today , I just laugh 😃.
THE REAL PROJECT OF THE CHURCH SHOULD BE ABOUT THE WELLBEING OF THE PEOPLE IN THAT PLACE , NOT PRIMARILY TV STATIONS , or schools or hospitals that belong to the church but technically are the Pastors' property.
I believe that a beyond spirituality, a local church can leverage on human capital and all forms of crowd funding done in church (offerings, tithes seeds, etc) to come up with true projects that could walk the members of that church out of poverty and equally bring community transformation and development.
But most churches today are sanctuaries of vain hopes and promises given to people without any practical solutions. I BELIVE THE CHURCH IS A PLACE OF DOCTRINE, BUT ALSO THE CHURCH IS A PART OF A LARGER SOCIOCULTURAL REALITY . INSTEAD OF PRAYING FOR OR AGAINST SOME THINGS WE CAN BUILD SYSTEMS. IT IS POSSIBLE IF WE STOP HAVING LEADERS WHO ARE SO SMALL IN THEIR MINDS, LIMITED IN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF GOD, AND SO MYOPIC IN THEIR VIEW OF THE UNIVERSE .
If the churches have as main projects the "PEOPLE" GREED AND MATERIALISM Will runaway.
● CHECK THE KIND OF GOSPEL PREACHED IN CHURCHES TODAY
Such a Waccckkkk!!!!
If we are not preaching Money and Poverty, we are telling people to sow seeds to break curses , sow seeds to tap grace, or we are exalting Satan and demons in lengthy prayer sessions with no effects , or we are killing our enemies , or we are telling people how hot Hell fire is . NO DISCIPLESHIP, THE CHURCHES ARE FULL OF SPECTATORS WHO COME TO WATCH US PERFORM , NO DOUBT EVERY SERVANT IS BECOMING AN ACTOR AND WANTS A PAY FOR THEIR ROLE.
A TIME WHEN ALL PASTORS AND SERVANTS ARE CONTENT CREATORS SHOWING THEIR CARS , PROTOCOLS, HOTELS , HOUSES, EVEN THE FOOD THEY EAT, YET YOU ARE WONDERING WHERE THE TREE OF THE LOVE OF MONEY IS PLANTED AND HOW IT GREW THIS TALL.

GENEROSITY IN THE FAMILY OF GOD IS A MUST.
