My pastor once said, “Everyone who comes to this church is not meant to stay at this church. Some of you will mature and become pastors, others will become missionaries, others will become involved in para-church ministries and so on.” God calls many of us to duplicate ourselves and take what we have learned to reach others outside of the sphere of our influence. Yahushua, (Jesus) himself worked himself out of a job. He poured himself out into 12 disciples, and before they died, they poured themselves into their followers.
In order for the Gospel of the Kingdom to reach every nation and ethnic group on the earth it is imperative that we make disciples the same way our Savior did. We must deposit the message of the Kingdom of Heaven into the hearts and lives of everyone who is willing to receive it; and then encourage them to make that same deposit into others. Yahushua (Jesus) was very specific about proclaiming the “Gospel of the Kingdom”. (Matt 24:14) “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations...and then shall the end come.” Salvation, born again, revival, deliverance, the cross, the resurrection, and grace are all is the Kingdom of Heaven; however, our Savior’s primary message was preaching the “Kingdom”. (Matt 6:) “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…”
The end of the age will come when the Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached to every tribe and tongue. I urge you to preach what our Savior taught, and have those that you teach go and teach others until the message our Savior has been heard around the world. Teach it, preach it, pray it, sing it, and shout it from the housetops. “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”
