Stop Fooling Yourself
Some years back,afer some time of prayers and fasting, i visited a father in Niegria for impartation because i longed for the grace of God at work in his life.
As i knelt down for him to pray for me after handing the seed i came with, this man said.....
Lord take him through what i have gone through
Let the persecution i suffered be his portion
What?
At this point,i removed my head...what kind of wicked prayer is this sir? And he answered and said...
Son,there is a dimension of grace that only comes by virtue of what you have gone through.
It was the cross that put the crown on Jesus.
For oil to flow,the olive fruit must be pressed.
From that day,my perspective about life and ministry changed.
I acted like my generation, a generation that want microwave grace and speed in Ministry and life.
A generation that will rather visit native doctors for strange powers just to avoid process
A generation that a young lady will rather be a second wife than go through the process of waiting for the right man.
A generation that a young man will rather marry the age of his mother wh9 is rich,than get a job or follow process of hustling
A generation where a young boy prefers scamming than hustling
A generation were a young girl prefers prostitution than farming
We want glory without shame first
We want to appear rich without working for the riches
We want to look neat without being dirty first
We want to be at the top without climbing the stairs
It is lack of patience and the fear of process that makes my generation think they can carry offering and go deceive a man who have walked miles with the Lord and collect grace from him.
Mind you,i believe in impartation, but God doesn't transfer grace agaisnt process and time.
The first man God created that didn't grow(Adam) put us all in shock..no doubt Jesus came and the bible says...the child grew and waxed strong..PROCESS
If you care carry offering and visit that your classmate who takes first in class and sow seed so they can impart wisdom and knowledge so you can succeed in exams, if you don't go home and study you will fail terribly after impartation.
If you care,admire a couple and go give them offering for impartation,if you don't come back home and do hardwork for your marriage to work,you will fail in marriage even after impartation.
It's a generation that thinks snapping with men who have come a long way with God is transfer of grace.
No doubt,some of these men now charge a fee to be snapped with because they have seen that you have a business mindset so let them also make money from you.
Hear me...process and time are facilitators of grace and lifting.
Since you came back from impartation,why not just sleep,grace has landed on you.
You must cultivate your own fellowship with God else you die with oil poured on your head like a local champion.
Elisha only carried a double portion because he poured water in the hands of Elijah.
Process made him a candidate for a double portion.
A terrible generation...when you discipline one,he looks for higher grace to be imparted by instead of going through the process of character formation.
A generation were a young man or woman will rather divorce their spouse than go through the process of being patient with one another.
My Counsel....
1. Be intentional about growth..
Growth is not a wishful thought,it's hard and process.
2. Oil only takes the shape of the container...
No matter how much inpartation comes on you,your capacity will determine the outflow. Build capacity.
3. Embrace process...
Men are formed by what they go through.
Gof must make you before you lie down beaide green pasture.
4. Everybody has their time..
Be intentional and bold,but dont cut corners to arrive when you have not started the journey even.
Your time is coming,be patient while you build capacity.
