Honouring The Legacy of Apostle Dr. Victor Ndih: The Apostle of Grace
Apostle Dr. Victor Ndih was one of the most respected Pentecostal fathers of his generation within The Apostolic Church Cameroon (TACC). Fondly known across church circles as “The Apostle of Grace,” he served faithfully as Vice National President before eventually becoming the 6th National President of TACC from 2012 to 2017, and later held the honourable title of Emeritus President.
Born in 1951, his life became a testimony of apostolic leadership, humility, compassion, and unwavering devotion to the work of God. More than an administrator, he was a shepherd whose ministry carried both fatherly warmth and spiritual authority. Those who encountered Apostle T.V. Ndih remember him as a man deeply consumed with passion for evangelism and the advancement of the Gospel. He was known for his gentle spirit, generosity, kindness, and sincere love for people.
Yet beneath that tenderness was a strong apostolic grace that commanded honour throughout Pentecostal circles in Cameroon. Many described him as “God’s general,” a servant whose ministry was marked by visible demonstrations of God’s power, fervent prayer, and unwavering faith in Christ. He did not merely preach the Word; he lived it.
His influence extended beyond the pulpit into the lives of sons, ministers, and church leaders whom he nurtured with wisdom and spiritual care. Among those carrying his legacy are his biological sons, Samuel Ndih and Joe Ndih, who are respectively leading their own ministries. Together with his faithful companion, Mama Ndih, a woman of contagious spirituality who stood faithfully beside him throughout his years of ministry, supporting and accompanying him in the work of the Gospel, Apostle Dr. Victor Ndih raised his children in the fear of the Lord, building a home founded on Christian values and devotion to God.
Apart from his biological sons, Apostle Dr. Victor Ndih equally invested in many sons within TACC and beyond, notably the current President of TACC, Apostle John Mbokwang, whose ascension to the helm of TACC is believed by many to be in fulfilment of the prophetic utterances and blessings of Apostle Dr. Victor Ndih. Indeed, his greatest impact was not merely in the titles he held, but in the lives he transformed and the spiritual seeds he planted.
On Sunday, 17 March 2024, Apostle Dr. Victor Ndih went to be with the Lord at the age of 72. His funeral ceremonies, held in Buea in June 2024, drew honour from church leaders, ministers, and believers across the nation. Apostolic honours were conducted at The Apostolic Church Great Soppo, Buea, followed by a major funeral service at the Molyko Stadium before his burial at Mile 17, Buea.
Though he has departed this world, the legacy of The Apostle of Grace continues to echo through the church he served, the ministers he raised, and the countless lives touched by his ministry. He showed that leadership is not merely about occupying an office, but about raising lives and serving God with sincerity. His legacy reminds this generation that a man who walks faithfully with God will continue to speak even after his departure.
