When the glory of God comes upon a man, life ceases to be a struggle. I have not achieved half of what Bishop Oyedepo has achieved for the kingdom, but I have seen a little of the benefits of investing in people.
I have never built a house for myself, but I have children who have built houses for me. So I don’t need to manipulate to own one. I have given out over 57 cars to pastors, missionaries, and evangelists, but I have only bought cars twice in my lifetime. All the cars I have ever owned were given to me by people I invested in.
I have wonderful children who beg to buy me clothes and even ask when I will wear them so they can see.
I have children to whom I once gave money, but now they are begging to have my bank account so they can bless me in return. I have sons and daughters who, by the grace of God and my influence in their lives, have become multimillionaires and today can effortlessly give me millions monthly.
I have over forty evangelists and missionaries on my payroll; I am only able to accomplish that because of my wonderful children in ministry around the world.
Giving is my lifestyle; why should my receiving become your problem?
Bishop Oyedepo was my pastor’s tenant in Angwan Rimi, Kaduna, in the eighties. I remember everything about how he made payments for the rent of that house. But today, that same tenant is building the biggest church edifice in the world. He has infrastructure all over the globe. I read one of his books when he was just about thirty years old.
The man has invested in many people; he has given to millions around the world. Very few of us can tell you about his early days in Kaduna. He was my neighbor in Barnawa, Kaduna. I watched him build the first six-story building ever owned by a church. That man has achieved so much for God; stop speaking against a man who has accomplished so much for Him.
Are you complaining about people giving Bishop Oyedepo ordinary cars? I pray his children will be able to buy him jets for his 80th birthday. Bishop Oyedepo has invested in lives. Don’t criticize a man’s glory if you don’t know his story.
